To do this, the School Council decided it was best to set up a board that students could pin messages onto, and we encouraged them to write on post-it notes, either anonymously or not, thanking their teachers. This, in itself, was very successful, with the whole board being covered by the end of break, which really emphasised the amazing teaching we have as a school. School council students then took the post-it notes and delivered them to each teacher they were intended for, so they could really see they were appreciated (especially if they hadn’t seen the board).

Thank you to everybody who wrote on the board, it really made a difference and made the day special – and you can now look out for any post-it notes on your teacher’s desks!
