It was good to get rugby underway after weeks of hard ground and no rain. Well done to the Year 8 boys, who put in a committed performance against a very talented Wilmington Grammar team. It was a heavy defeat, but there was lots to be proud of.

Year 8 Netball

On Tuesday, our Year 8 A and B teams took on Eltham Hill in two closely contested matches, with both teams showing great determination and teamwork throughout.

The A team battled hard to finish with a 6–6 draw in a tightly fought game. Isabella was named 'Opposition Player of the Match' for her excellent performance in defence.

The B team also put in a determined effort, narrowly losing 3–1 in a competitive match. Hollie was named 'OPOM' in recognition of her fantastic contribution in attack.

Well done to both teams for their efforts and competitive spirit!
