Year 10 Students Explore Science in Action!

On Wednesday 21st January, 30 of our Year 10 students enjoyed an inspiring day at Science in Action, packed with exciting lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences.

Highlights included:
- Rainforest Lab with Greg Foot, taking students on a journey to the Amazon and exploring cutting-edge conservation research.
- Everything Astro with Dr Emma Chapman, showing how scientists are working together to unlock the mysteries of the universe.
- The Human Guinea Pig with Tom Warrender—one of our students even volunteered on stage to have his ECG taken!
- Fusion Energy with Leah Morgan, revealing how scientists are trying to recreate the power of the Sun.
- Nanoinvasion with Dr Jamie Gallagher, diving into the tiny technologies transforming our world.

The students were captivated throughout the day, asking questions, volunteering, and exploring the real-world applications of science. It was a memorable experience that brought science to life and inspired the next generation of innovators.
