KS3 Swimming Gala
On Tuesday, our Year 7–9 swimmers headed to Colfe’s for a fantastic gala, showing great teamwork and talent throughout.
There were standout wins from Misha in the Year 9 100m Individual Medley and 50m Butterfly, Gabriel in the Year 8 50m Backstroke, and Amrit in the Year 8 50m Butterfly. Nehi also impressed, finishing 2nd in the 50m Backstroke while swimming up a year!
The Year 9 Medley Relay team (with two Year 8s stepping up) took 2nd place, helping BGS secure a brilliant 3rd overall against some tough competition.
A superb team effort, well done swimmers! We will be heading back to Colfe’s in a couple of weeks with some of our older swimmers!
