The Year 9 rugby team battled really well in defeat vs Hurstmere on Thursday.
Particular mention should be reserved for Adam and Connor, who both played really well on their debuts.

U15 Football
The U15 football team rounded off 2025 with a confident 6-0 win over Cleeve Park in the North Kent Cup. Daniel opened the scoring with a tap-in to extend his lead as the team’s top scorer this season before Sammy finished well for 2-0 inside the first 10 minutes. Despite consistent pressure, it took until the second half for Harrison to crash in a 3rd from outside the box. He went on to complete an impressive hat trick, before skipper Seb rounded off the win late-on. Well played boys

Thank you, Barry!
We were delighted to say thank you to Barry, our coach from @sidcuprugby who has been helping our U12 and U13 teams this season, in his last session on Monday. The boys have really enjoyed working with him, and we’re hoping lots of them are inspired to get up to Sidcup and join their age group teams.

Christmas miracle for Year 8 Football team
The first half the boys were asleep, and we paid for it instantly with our lack of communication and our scarce confidence. We came off the pitch at half-time with a 5-0 score to Cleeve Park weighing us down and disappointment in every single one of us knowing that we all could’ve done more and that we should be in this game.
With a short rest and a brilliant pep talk from Mr Martin, we went out in the second half ready to battle and we were absolutely amazing. Every few minutes, all you could hear was the ball hitting the net, and we came together as a team with 2 goals from Onyi, 2 from Jayden and one from Santi in a 5-5 comeback. However, do not take this away from the midfield and the defence, who worked tirelessly to recycle the ball. From players like Kiyaan who didn’t let his winger (who was double his size) past one time, to Teo who made an outstanding debut with massive contributions in his box-to-box work. Although we praise the outfield performance a lot, Pavel should be accredited for his last-ditch save in the final minutes of the game and for his cross-field passes. We did miss a few chances but our constant talking and encouragement intimidated the opponents and made up for the conceded. No one person can be the reason we won this game, so I would like everybody who played to be acknowledged.
The best comeback I think all the team have been a part of and a true miracle.
